Marketing Intern, Creative Services - REQ # 1468

Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is looking for a Marketing Intern, Creative Services in Suwanee, GA for Summer 2026.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC LLC (METUS) is seeking a dynamic and motivated summer Marketing Intern to participate in our project-driven Student Internship Program (SIP). The SIP is designed to provide students with professional experience in the furtherance of their education and with an opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a practical setting under a trained supervisor.

The Marketing Intern will have hands-on experience in supporting key marketing strategies through technical writing projects. They will play a key role in helping drive the company’s success in the marketplace by developing features and benefits marketing materials to be used across our channels.

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in the development of descriptions of attributes, features, benefits of METUS products, controls, and accessories.
  • Support submittal generation of accessories and controls using approved descriptions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed to develop product and feature messaging.
  • Create a Glossary of product descriptions for controls and accessories.
  • Develop a Glossary of features for each product, with messaging tailored to both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Learn key project management software, including Jira.
  • Improve written communication and technical writing skills through this content development process.
  • Complete an end-of-internship presentation to key executives and stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Design or related field. Must be actively enrolled during the duration of the internship.
  • Completion of at least sophomore year by internship start date.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong interest in written communication and technical writing.
  • Desire to learn project management software, such as Jira and Lytho
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, working with team members and key stakeholders to accomplish project goals.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, adapt to shifting priorities, and work independently.
  • Be proactive, self-motivated, eager to learn, and willing to take initiative in a fast-paced setting.
  • Team player demonstrating METUS core values including a desire to win together, deliver excellence, drive sustainability, focus on execution and learn continuously.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $16.54 and $22.74 per hour, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid [parental/disability/emergency/etc.] leave, if eligible.
