Product Management Co-op Intern - Controls - REQ 368

Location: Suwanee, GA

Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is looking for a Product Management Co-Op Intern - Control in Suwanee, GA for Summer 2024.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Mitsubishi Electric US Heating and Air Conditioning division designs and manufactures heat pump systems and controls for the North American market. We are looking for a candidate for our CO-OP program to complete 3 alternating semesters of full-time work within our Product Management team.

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design programs.
  • A college student with at least 1 year of school completed.
  • Must be able to work 40 hours a week in our Suwanee, GA office, Monday through Friday for a summer internship.
  • Duties include but not limited to working on design, simulation, and test of the world’s most efficient air handlers controls products.
  • Organize and update controls product competitive analysis

Training may include:

  • Design Software (i.e. Figma)
  • Development Software Tacking (i.e. Atlassian products)
  • HVAC Controls product test setup and monitoring
  • LEAN tools and processes

Preferred Education/Experience/Training:

  • Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design programs.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills. Self-directed regarding project goals.
  • Candidates should have an interest in applying their technical knowledge to business processes.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $15.38 and $21.15/hour however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
