Commercial Project Specialist - REQ # 1282

Location: Suwanee, GA

Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is looking for a Commercial Project Specialist in Suwanee, GA.

Hours are: 8:00am - 4:30pm

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Commercial Fulfillment Project Specialist will act as the control tower for all assigned commercial projects. This role is responsible for managing all fulfillment aspects of assigned commercial project orders from the time they are entered until the project is shipped complete and all customer requirements have been met. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Project Management:
    • Analyze assigned projects, establish schedules and project parameters, and set up a meeting cadence per project.
    • Participate in weekly team MWI meetings to review projects.
    • Monitor the daily Open Order Report for assigned projects, research any discrepancies, and communicate necessary changes.
  • Customer Support:
    • Work closely with customers to ensure all project requirements are met.
    • Respond to all inquiries for assigned projects and maintain the project queue.
    • Execute any changes needed for assigned projects throughout their lifecycle, including expedite requests, cancellations, address changes, POC changes, model transitions, reorders.
    • Ensure projects are captured on the Project Fulfillment Dashboard.
  • Manage BACNET issuance.
    • Suggesting substitutions for out-of-stock products.
    • Request transfers as needed to meet project requirements.
  • Logistics Coordination:
    • Collaborate with Logistics and Warehouse teams to ensure project requirements are executed.
  • Data Integrity:
    • Maintain data integrity in SAP for all assigned commercial project orders.
    • Escalate credit requests to the management team.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project fulfillment efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BS degree in Project or Business Management or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Proven planning, problem-solving, and business logic abilities.
  • SAP experience preferred.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $26.92 and $37.02 per hour, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid [parental/disability/emergency/etc.] leave, if eligible.
